ACER palmatum 'Going Green'

Description: Common name: Japanese Maple. Leaves emerge lime green in spring and stay green all summer. In autumn shades of gold, orange, red and yellow

Uses: Can be grown in a container as a feature plant, or to give height and structure to a rockery, or to provide brilliant autumn colour to a woodland garden

Climate/Position: Plant in a sheltered position in sun to partial shade

Height/Spread: 5 metres with a 3 metre spread

Soil Requirements: Neutral to acid pH

Pruning: Usually require very little pruning other than removing any winter dieback at the ends of shoots. Best pruned when fully dormant
