CORDYLINE australis 'Peko'

Description:Common name: Cabbage Tree 'Peko?. A striking evergreen, palm-like tree with bright green sword-like leaves which are red-green on the undersides

Uses: Suited to sunny dry gardens, for use as a focus point and makes an excellent container plant for patios

Climate/Position: Full sun in a sheltered site as not fully hardy - can withstand temperatures down to -5°C

Height/Spread: Can reach 2 metres. Spread 1 metre

Soil Requirements: Needs a well-drained soil

Pruning: Removal of dead or browning leaves as they die back

Special Requirements: Protect before the winter frosts, potted plants need moving to protection under glass for the winter
