Description:Common name: Fountain Bamboo. A medium sized bamboo, dense, clump forming, deep red to black canes, light green foliage

Uses: Focal point when grown in a pot

Climate/Position: Best planted in semi shade, but will happily grow in full sun

Height/Spread: Height 2.5-3 metres

Soil Requirements: Plant with the addition of some organic matter and water in well

Pruning: No pruning required

Special Requirements: Do not let the plant dry out in the first six months
