Description: Common name: Fig Dalmatian Early. Attractive foliage, very large green fruit with amber flesh. Self-fertile

Uses: Eating

Climate/Position: Sheltered position, south facing is ideal

Height/Spread: 3 metres height and spread

Soil Requirements: Well drained fertile soils. Roots can be restricted to promote fruiting

Pruning: Once established prune bare branches in spring

Special Requirements: Skin irritant with sunlight

Additional Interest: A bifere variety bearing fruit twice a year, flower figs in early summer on the wood of the previous year, and autumn figs on branches of the current year
