Uses: Use in the garden as a hedge on a leg

Climate/Position: Best planted in full sun. Can grow in coastal locations

Height/Spread: The stem height will not increase, but the size of the pleached panel will over time

Soil Requirements: Will grow in most soils, avoid waterlogged areas. Do not plant too deeply

Pruning: Train new growth in to the framework, when there are no gaps in the frame then trim annually. Usually grafted so be aware of suckers and unwanted branches on the main stem

Special Requirements: Harmful if eaten

Additional Interest: In very cold winters it will lose some leaves
