Climate/Position: Full sun or partial shade. Some shelter advisable to avoid young shoots being scorched by late frost
Height/Spread: The plant will increase in volume over time
Soil Requirements: Any soil but must be well drained
Pruning: Trim annually with topiary shears or hedge-cutters in early or late summer to keep specimen in shape
Special Requirements: Avoid exposed sites, as easterly winds will damage the young growth in spring
