Uses: The fruit can be used in tarts, jams, and brandies

Climate/Position: Can be grown, fan trained on a north facing wall, or in a sunny position in the fruit garden

Height/Spread: Height 4 metres, spread 3 metres

Soil Requirements: Well-drained soils

Pruning: Prune after harvest to allow light and air into the tree, watch out for bacterial canker, remove and burn affected branches

Special Requirements: Protect the fruit from birds, as they look ripe before they are ready to pick

Additional Interest: This variety is self-fertile, but yields will be higher if other cherry trees are planted nearby
