Uses: Pink flowers in spring, followed by Peach like fruits

Climate/Position: Best grown in a sunny sheltered position in the garden, or trained against a sunny wall. Protect from late frosts

Height/Spread: Can grow up to 5 metres high, by 4 metres wide

Soil Requirements: Grow in well drained, avoid cold wet clay soils as the roots will die

Pruning: Prune to maintain the plant shape, in summer after fruiting

Special Requirements: Avoid soils with a pH of 8 and above, it will cause root death

Additional Interest: A Nectarine is a smooth skinned variety of Peach, this has developed from a natural mutation
